“Marie's yoga class for expecting couples was a particularly positive experience for me as an inexperienced but eager birth companion. I went into the session expecting to gain knowledge of some key stretches and perhaps some effective relaxation techniques to increase my partner's comfort during labour. What I got was so much more! During the process I felt a stronger connection with my partner Leanne and I felt an intense emotional presence or 'connection' with my unborn child. Marie's style, both professional and comforting, enriched the experience and eased the process for me—someone who had never taken yoga classes of any kind before! I would recommend this adventure for all expecting couples—regardless of whether or not they have embarked on the childbirth journey together previously!” ~Dallas Gislason, step-dad to Noah, first-time Birth Companion. |
