What if the water you drink could “hear” your thoughts?
Dr. Masaru Emoto believed it could. Through decades of research, he showed how water responds to human emotion and intention. When frozen, water exposed to kind words or calming music formed stunning, symmetrical crystals. But water subjected to harsh words or chaotic sounds became disordered, fragmented, and dull.
We are 70% water, so what we think and feel might shape not only our mental state but the very structure of our bodies.
Makes you think about what’s written on your water bottle, doesn’t it?
Mine says, “Create Everyday.” How about yours?
Your baby is growing in water, and you’re made mostly of it. That means every thought, every word, every feeling you experience echoes in your body and your baby’s world.
Try this!

Write a simple, positive affirmation and tape it to your water bottle.
- “My baby is growing healthy and strong.”
- “I am calm, safe, and supported.”
- “My body knows what to do.”
For new mamas, create an affirmation for this new chapter in life:
- “I am doing enough.”
- “I trust myself.”
- “I am learning and growing every day.”
- “My love is more than enough for my child.”
Each sip becomes a small ritual. A moment of intention. A way to shape your inner waters with love.
More About Dr. Emoto

Masaru Emoto, a Japanese researcher and original thinker, dedicated his life to exploring the mysteries of water, not just chemically, but energetically. He photographed frozen water crystals under a microscope to reveal how different influences (words, music, emotions) visibly changed their structure.
- Clean spring water = beautiful crystals
- Classical music = harmonious formations
- Angry words = distorted, chaotic shapes
- Floral oils = flower-shaped crystals
Water from clear mountain springs and streams had beautifully formed crystalline structures, while the crystals of polluted or stagnant water were deformed and distorted.
Distilled water exposed to classical music took delicate, symmetrical crystalline shapes.
When the words “thank you” were taped to a bottle of distilled water, the frozen crystals had a similar shape to the crystals formed by water that had been exposed to Bach’s “Goldberg Variations,” music composed out of gratitude to the man it was named for.
When water samples were bombarded with heavy metal music or labelled with negative words, or when negative thoughts and emotions were focused intentionally upon them, such as “Adolf Hitler”, the water did not form crystals at all and displayed chaotic, fragmented structures.
When water was treated with aromatic floral oils, the water crystals tended to mimic the shape of the original flower.
Sometimes, when we cannot see the immediate results of our affirmations and or prayers, we think we have failed. But, as we learn through Masaru Emoto’s photographs, that thought of failure itself becomes represented in the physical objects that surround us. Now that we have seen this, perhaps we can begin to realize that even when immediate results are invisible to the unaided human eye, they are still there.
He authored bestsellers like The Hidden Messages in Water and The True Power of Water, sharing his vision of water as a living mirror of our consciousness.
Water is not just a source of hydration, it’s a source of connection.
To yourself. To your baby. To the Earth.
Let’s be intentional with our thoughts, words, and even what we whisper into our water bottles.
Because every drop matters, and so do you.
